For a sustainable EU seed law

The free circulation of non-industrial seeds and other plant propagating material must remain legal. ARCHE NOAH will not accept EU laws that threaten rare and old seed varieties, cut back consumers' freedom of choice and harm small-scale farmers even further. ARCHE NOAH does notwant diversity to be put at risk.

We inform policy makers, civil society and media

ARCHE NOAH advocates, both in Austria and in Brussels, for a more sustainable EU seed law that will protect the rights of farmers, gardeners and consumers and preserve biodiversity.

Vienna Declaration

European Declaration on the planned EU seed marketing regulation

On 24 November 2013, over 40 organisations signed the Vienna Declaration on the planned EU seed marketing regulation (PRM law) „Protect our natural heritage, biodiversity and resulting food security!“– an urgent call to action". Read the Vienna Declaration.
